Human Rights for All

Human Rights for All

By applying Scientology in my life, I find that it inherently increases my own viewpoint on others, including other groups and people that I don’t even know and people of all ages or races. There is no doubt that a sane world is one where human rights are guaranteed and where freedom to be comes naturally.

Scientology helps not only through the immense technology and laws of life, but also in its application and in its procedures. There are however, several points in The Code of a Scientologist which come to mind in supporting human rights that I feel have to be mentioned. The Code says:

“As a Scientologist, I pledge myself to the Code of Scientology for the good of all. …
2. To use the best I know of Scientology to the best of my ability to help my family, friends, groups and the world.
4. To decry and do all I can to abolish any and all abuses against life and Mankind.
8. To support true humanitarian endeavors in the fields of human rights.
9. To embrace the policy of equal justice for all.
10. To work for freedom of speech in the world.
11. To actively decry the suppression of knowledge, wisdom, philosophy or data which would help Mankind.
12. To support the freedom of religion.
20. To make this world a saner, better place.”

In that same vein, The Creed of the Church of Scientology, written in 1954, is equally clear. It says, in part:

“We of the Church believe
That all men of whatever race, color or creed were created with equal rights.
That all men have inalienable rights to their own religious practices and their performance.
That all men have inalienable rights to their own lives.
That all men have inalienable rights to their sanity.
That all men have inalienable rights to their own defense.
That all men have inalienable rights to conceive, choose, assist or support their own organizations, churches and governments.
That all men have inalienable rights to think freely, to talk freely, to write freely their own opinions and to counter or utter or write upon the opinions of others.
That all men have inalienable rights to the creation of their own kind.
That the souls of men have the rights of men.
That the study of the mind and the healing of mentally caused ills should not be alienated from religion or condoned in nonreligious fields.
And that no agency less than God has the power to suspend or set aside these rights, overtly or covertly.”

L. Ron Hubbard once stated: “On the day we can fully trust each other, there will be peace on Earth.”

Perhaps it isn’t real for you, but I have discovered that the greater responsibility I take for my own area and the people around me, the greater I respect them as people and grant them their own space and ability to be who they are. This extends further to a greater respect and a natural love for all people. You see it in races and places all over the world where they respect others, that extension of care and respect is very much appreciated and goes a long way toward human relations. The subject of help is one which could use a lot of improvement and you may have noticed when someone helped you in a time of need, you were very thankful.

In addition to the work done by the Church of Scientology to increase awareness of human rights, I appreciate the work that the Youth for Human Rights International has done and their sister organization Artists for Human Rights. I know that they take extensive measures every year to spread the word of peace and human rights in all countries, including many third world countries. They also both heavily support the Universal Declaration on Human Rights.

Scientology Celebrities Dazzle Under the Stars

Scientology Celebrities Dazzle Under the Stars

Hundreds, including many Scientology celebrities, attended the luxurious and dazzling Scientology Celebrity Centre Gala this August 4th.

The aura was amazing, dazzling, sparking and luxurious, foods rich, dessert supreme, and on and on.  What else would you expect with a celebration dead center in Hollywood with over a thousand people attending the exclusive event?

Kirstie Alley, John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston

Where any celebs there?  Let me see, besides Kirstie Alley (looking slimmer and slimmer), John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Catherine Bell, Jenna Elfman, Erika Christensen, Shannon Star Roberts, Sophia Milos, Kate Ceberano, Nancy Cartwright, Anne Archer, Taylor Dayne to name a few, I suppose I could say yes.

In terms of the entertainment, what I was most surprised to see was Kate Ceberano and John-Paul Collins, winners of Dancing with the Stars (down under) performed and awed the crowd.  Later Kate also sang and then came applause, applause, applause.  Truly spectacular.

Kate Ceberano - Success with Scientology

Kate Ceberano - Success with Scientology

Kate Ceberano is definitely doing quite well and having a great time right now.  She recently won the “Dancing With The Stars” contest in Australia.  See my prior blog entry at: http://spiritualbeing.wordpress.com/2007/05/02/kate-ceberano-is-the-dancing-queen/

I also have other entries about her at: http://spiritualbeing.wordpress.com/tag/celebrities/kate-ceberano/

She also came out with a new album, Nine Lime Avenue.  Check out her site at: http://kateceberano.com.

She also is a long time Scientologist.  I ran across a success story of hers while going through a book called What is Scientology?

Her success story stated:

“I think the most essential thing for an artist, in order to develop and mature, is to get information that he or she can use in terms of communication skills and in terms of reality with people. The Tone Scale is invaluable wisdom for any artist. I think Scientology is essential. It’s been the most practical tool for me to have. I love being a Scientologist. I’m proud to have parents and grandparents who are Scientologists. I love being an individual and expressing myself and Scientology has enabled me to do that.”

Catherine Bell - Giving Back

Catherine Bell — Giving Back

Catherine Bell has a great website up at http://www.catherinebellonline.com.  It is a very cool and well-designed site.  On there she has a section called “Giving Back,” which says:

These are all groups that I am closely involved with and I support them because they WORK! They have extremely effective and workable solutions to everything from criminal rehabilitation to teaching the illiterate to read.

CRIMINON www.criminon.org
CCHR www.cchr.com (video)
EARTH ORG www.earthorganization.org
WAY TO HAPPINESS www.twth.org
YOUTH FOR HUMAN RIGHTS www.youthforhumanrights.org
HELP www.helplearn.org
ABLE www.able.org

Here are some other great groups I support:
NARCONON www.narconon.org
APPLIED SCHOLASTICS www.appliedscholastics.org
LABEL ME SANE www.labelmesane.com
EPIDERMOLYSIS BULLOSA www.ebkids.org

This is a great list.  A lot of these groups are associated with L. Ron Hubbard’s technology.  Seeing that she is a Scientologist, this would make sense.  Her comment (above) really points out why she refers to these.  She stated: “I support them because they WORK!”

In that end, that’s what really matters anyway.

She also has a section called “Links” which also refers to Scientology-related sites or friends of hers which are Scientologists, and celebrities.  Here’s what it says:

L. Ron Hubbard’s Dianetics — 57th Anniversary

L. Ron Hubbard’s Dianetics — 57th Anniversary

Today is May 9th — a key date to remember in the Scientology world.  Scientologists and Dianeticists around the world recognize May 9th each year as the anniversary of the publication of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health by L. Ron Hubbard.

When Dianetics was first published in May 1950, it immediately went to the top of The New York Times bestsellers list, where it stayed for 28 consecutive weeks.

Further, Dianetics was the first book in history to receive the Century Award in commemoration of its 100 consecutive weeks on the Publishers Weekly bestseller list.

More than 6 million of L. Ron Hubbard’s books were sold last year alone, a large number of which were Dianetics.  Rightly so, Dianetics is translated in 56 languages and L. Ron Hubbard has already been acknowledged by Guiness World Records as the most translated author and the world’s most published author.  Dianetics is also in use in over 150 countries.

You can find some great stories of success from Dianetics here: http://www.dianetics.org/en_US/successes/index.html

From L. Ron Hubbard’s work through Dianetics and his continued research, Scientology was formed and today is a large and ever expanding religion with thousands of churches, missions and groups around the world.  Even top celebrities, such as Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Kirstie Alley, Giovanni Ribisi, Leah Remini, Jenna Elfman, Kate Ceberano, Catherine Bell, Chick Corea, Doug E. Fresh, Erika Christensen, Isaac Hayes, Jason Lee, Juliette Lewis, Sofia Milos, Lisa Marie Presley, Priscilla Presley, Marisol Nichols and many others are members of the Scientology religion.

One of the greatest things about Dianetics is that it has proven workable and has been used successfully by thousands to create happier and better lives.

Kate Ceberano is the Dancing Queen

Kate Ceberano wins the Dancing With The Stars contest, making her the Dancing Queen

After a very tight race, singer Kate Ceberano and partner John Paul snatched victory in the season finale of
Dancing With The Stars.

Congratulations!

DJ Fifi did excellent, however, Kate’s fans boosted her up right at the very end giving her victory.

http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,21656910-5001021,00.html

The Daily Telegraph reported:

“What an incredible journey this has been,” she said on being crowned the winner.

Later Ceberano said she thought the win miraculous, especially considering the groundswell of support behind Box.

“I can’t explain it,” Ceberano said.

She said her performance will give her new-found confidence to spice up her live acts with more “dancing and theatre”.

But she will have little time to savour her victory as she will line up next week on Seven’s It Takes Two, which fills the DWTS timeslot.
