Scientology Celebrities Dazzle Under the Stars

Scientology Celebrities Dazzle Under the Stars

Hundreds, including many Scientology celebrities, attended the luxurious and dazzling Scientology Celebrity Centre Gala this August 4th.

The aura was amazing, dazzling, sparking and luxurious, foods rich, dessert supreme, and on and on.  What else would you expect with a celebration dead center in Hollywood with over a thousand people attending the exclusive event?

Kirstie Alley, John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston

Where any celebs there?  Let me see, besides Kirstie Alley (looking slimmer and slimmer), John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Catherine Bell, Jenna Elfman, Erika Christensen, Shannon Star Roberts, Sophia Milos, Kate Ceberano, Nancy Cartwright, Anne Archer, Taylor Dayne to name a few, I suppose I could say yes.

In terms of the entertainment, what I was most surprised to see was Kate Ceberano and John-Paul Collins, winners of Dancing with the Stars (down under) performed and awed the crowd.  Later Kate also sang and then came applause, applause, applause.  Truly spectacular.

Erika Christensen Opens Scientology Center

Erika Christensen Opens New Scientology
Life Improvement Center in Plant City, Florida

On March 26, 2007, actress Erika Christensen, star of the TV show, Six Degrees, and the critically acclaimed film, Traffic, joined Church officials in cutting the ribbon at the Plant City Center. Ms. Christensen told Plant City residents, gathered to commemorate this special event, “You value what I, as a Scientologist, also hold dear: having a strong, loving family, being honest and maintaining one’s integrity.” And she went on to emphasize the importance of “using our talents and abilities to make the society around us a better one.”

Donald Hallback, President of the National Association for Tourism and Conventions and leader of the Plant City township of Bealsville, welcomed the Church, which he described as “a religion of religions.”

The 11,000 square-foot center houses 44 state-of-the-art exhibits including 12 audio visual systems to help anyone find out about Scientology founder, L. Ron Hubbard, and learn about Dianetics and Scientology beliefs and practices. They also cover the Church’s anti-drug, human rights and volunteer minister programs and other social betterment activities Scientologists undertake to help hundreds of thousands of families and children around the world.

The center features two film rooms, a lecture room and two rooms for community betterment programs such as the English as a Second Language program the Church has been running in Plant City since last fall.

L. Ron Hubbard’s Dianetics — 57th Anniversary

L. Ron Hubbard’s Dianetics — 57th Anniversary

Today is May 9th — a key date to remember in the Scientology world.  Scientologists and Dianeticists around the world recognize May 9th each year as the anniversary of the publication of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health by L. Ron Hubbard.

When Dianetics was first published in May 1950, it immediately went to the top of The New York Times bestsellers list, where it stayed for 28 consecutive weeks.

Further, Dianetics was the first book in history to receive the Century Award in commemoration of its 100 consecutive weeks on the Publishers Weekly bestseller list.

More than 6 million of L. Ron Hubbard’s books were sold last year alone, a large number of which were Dianetics.  Rightly so, Dianetics is translated in 56 languages and L. Ron Hubbard has already been acknowledged by Guiness World Records as the most translated author and the world’s most published author.  Dianetics is also in use in over 150 countries.

From L. Ron Hubbard’s work through Dianetics and his continued research, Scientology was formed and today is a large and ever expanding religion with thousands of churches, missions and groups around the world.  Even top celebrities, such as Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Kirstie Alley, Giovanni Ribisi, Leah Remini, Jenna Elfman, Kate Ceberano, Catherine Bell, Chick Corea, Doug E. Fresh, Erika Christensen, Isaac Hayes, Jason Lee, Juliette Lewis, Sofia Milos, Lisa Marie Presley, Priscilla Presley, Marisol Nichols and many others are members of the Scientology religion.

One of the greatest things about Dianetics is that it has proven workable and has been used successfully by thousands to create happier and better lives.
