Parade.com calls John Travolta “one of the biggest stars on the planet”.  Their next issue, June 17, has John Travolta on the cover, wielding a hot iron with total flair.

“Acclaimed photographer Justin Stephens set up a photo studio in the ballroom of the Fort Harrison, a classic luxury hotel in Clearwater Florida now lovingly restored as a Scientology retreat. There was a dance floor in the center of the room that made us think: Travolta, a place to dance, how can we lose? In jeans, a dark T-shirt and an Armani jacket, a fit and trim Travolta responded to the loud rhythmic music blasting from the speakers. No choreographer necessary, he was clearly having a great time, and the rest of us gleefully watched him take center stage in a fabulous performance for the camera. Visions of him burning up the floor in Grease, Saturday Night Fever and Pulp Fiction had everyone in the room hooting and applauding as Travolta did his thing.”

The cover of this Sunday’s Parade, with John Travolta on the cover, says: “The longtime star wonders: ‘Am I hot? Am I over? John Travolta Presson On!”

Parade.com further states: “I pointed to the board and John got the idea, too. ‘Hey, let’s get that. We could do a few shots with Edna’s props.’

“The photographer scrambled to light the scene. Travolta artfully arranged the cloth, draping it over the board. And then the real fun began. It was like watching a genius at work. He waved the iron to the beat of the music and stepped around the board. He turned the moment into something unforgettable.”

John Travolta - Success with Scientology

John Travolta has been a long time Scientologist and his movies continue to be rake in the millions and please his fans.  His last movie Wild Hogs did very well.

John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston are also very active on various community activities, which I find to be a very humanitarian effort.  For example, they will be at a fundraiser in Hawaii on May 24th, 2007 to support Narconon, a drug rehabilitation program which has proven to be a very successful program. To say that John Travolta has had a successful career in life would be an understatement.  Not to mention, he happens to be one of the only celebrities that I know that fly jets and can park one by their own house.  It is quite amazing.

John Travolta has definitely expressed a lot concerning his religion of Scientology and here is a success story which I found which was published in the book What is Scientology?

“In January of 1975 I was working on my first film in Durango, Mexico. There I met an actress who gave me the book Dianetics. During the five weeks we were filming she gave me some auditing sessions and applied some basic principles. That was when I became involved in Dianetics – because it worked.

“When I returned to the United States I began Scientology training and auditing. My career immediately took off and I landed a leading role on the TV show “Welcome Back Kotter” and had a string of successful films. I have been a successful actor for more than twenty years and Scientology has played a major role in that success.

“I have a wonderful child and a great marriage because I apply L. Ron Hubbard’s technology to this area of my life.

“As a Scientologist, I have the technology to handle life’s problems and I have used this to help others in life as well.

“I would say that Scientology put me into the big time.”

United Music Video Promotes Human Rights

United Music Video Promotes Human Rights

UNITED is a human rights music video unlike any other. Its production included a 45,000-mile world tour covering four continents and 13 countries.  Two thousand volunteers, including 150 actors, contributed their time to this global endeavor.

Directed by Taron Lexton, who was 19 at the time.

The film includes cameo performances by Isaac Hayes (South Park), Erika Christensen (Traffic, Upside of Anger), Jenna Elfman (Dharma and Greg, Keeping the Faith), Catherine Bell (JAG) and Lynsey Bartilson (Grounded for Life.)

The music video is a hip-hop human rights song and message and is beautifully made.

Lexton utilized the full facilities of his production company, TXL films, to create the music video as a project for Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI), an organization that teaches kids human rights and encourages youth-to-youth mentorship. Lexton received support in all phases of production from both YHRI and the Human Rights Department of the Church of Scientology International.

Kirstie Alley stars in and executive produces the upcoming Lifetime Original Movie Write & Wrong, a satiric comedy about a middle-aged screenwriter who learns she is all washed up in Hollywood because she is considered too old.

Kelly Preston, wife of John Travolta, has gone out of her way to help the people of her home state of Hawaii by informing others of the Narconon drug rehabilitation technology.  Kelly has also spoke out against psychiatric drugging of children.  Additionally, Kelly Preston has been helping people become more aware of environmental toxins and the dangers of them and how to get rid of them from your body.

 Drug-Free Kids for Hawaii is definitely her goal and a great goal it is indeed!

Youth for Human Rights is an organization which is promoting human rights on a broad scale. Their main message is to make human rights a reality in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Every person is entitled to certain rights – simply by the fact that they are a human being. They are “rights” because they are things you are allowed to be, to do or to have.

The greatest thing about Youth for Human Rights, in my view, is their ads. They have a very powerful message. Public Service Announcements (or ads) were created for each of the different rights as laid out in the UDHR.

John Travolta Talks Up Scientology

John Travolta Talks Up Scientology

John Travolta speaks of his views on Scientology and its expansion and activities.  He stated: “I would advise anyone who wants to know about it to read up on it. We [the Church of Scientology] are only getting bigger and we help people all over the world, from disaster zones to drug rehabilitation.”

The Metro.co.uk indicated that John Travolta is clearly not suffering from low self esteem.  Factually I think he looks great for his age, 53.
