Human Rights for All

By applying Scientology in my life, I find that it inherently increases my own viewpoint on others, including other groups and people that I don’t even know and people of all ages or races. There is no doubt that a sane world is one where human rights are guaranteed and where freedom to be comes naturally.

Scientology helps not only through the immense technology and laws of life, but also in its application and in its procedures. There are however, several points in The Code of a Scientologist which come to mind in supporting human rights that I feel have to be mentioned. The Code says:

“As a Scientologist, I pledge myself to the Code of Scientology for the good of all. …
2. To use the best I know of Scientology to the best of my ability to help my family, friends, groups and the world.
4. To decry and do all I can to abolish any and all abuses against life and Mankind.
8. To support true humanitarian endeavors in the fields of human rights.
9. To embrace the policy of equal justice for all.
10. To work for freedom of speech in the world.
11. To actively decry the suppression of knowledge, wisdom, philosophy or data which would help Mankind.
12. To support the freedom of religion.
20. To make this world a saner, better place.”

In that same vein, The Creed of the Church of Scientology, written in 1954, is equally clear. It says, in part:

“We of the Church believe
That all men of whatever race, color or creed were created with equal rights.
That all men have inalienable rights to their own religious practices and their performance.
That all men have inalienable rights to their own lives.
That all men have inalienable rights to their sanity.
That all men have inalienable rights to their own defense.
That all men have inalienable rights to conceive, choose, assist or support their own organizations, churches and governments.
That all men have inalienable rights to think freely, to talk freely, to write freely their own opinions and to counter or utter or write upon the opinions of others.
That all men have inalienable rights to the creation of their own kind.
That the souls of men have the rights of men.
That the study of the mind and the healing of mentally caused ills should not be alienated from religion or condoned in nonreligious fields.
And that no agency less than God has the power to suspend or set aside these rights, overtly or covertly.”

L. Ron Hubbard once stated: “On the day we can fully trust each other, there will be peace on Earth.”

Perhaps it isn’t real for you, but I have discovered that the greater responsibility I take for my own area and the people around me, the greater I respect them as people and grant them their own space and ability to be who they are. This extends further to a greater respect and a natural love for all people. You see it in races and places all over the world where they respect others, that extension of care and respect is very much appreciated and goes a long way toward human relations. The subject of help is one which could use a lot of improvement and you may have noticed when someone helped you in a time of need, you were very thankful.

In addition to the work done by the Church of Scientology to increase awareness of human rights, I appreciate the work that the Youth for Human Rights International has done and their sister organization Artists for Human Rights. I know that they take extensive measures every year to spread the word of peace and human rights in all countries, including many third world countries. They also both heavily support the Universal Declaration on Human Rights.

Dianetics answers the riddles of man’s problems of the mind. How do you handle fears, anxiety, nervousness, instability and pain? You may not realize how much your own mind is causing these things. One of the coolest things about the new site is that it has dozens of videos from others who have experienced the miraculous results of Dianetics and they explain how it helped them or how they used Dianetics to help others. One lady, Sabrina, a writer, said she was having trouble understanding people and why they would do certain things, but now she gets along much better with people and has more certainty in life. A young fellow named David found that Dianetics gave him a greater understanding of life and why he used to feel disassociated, like he wasn’t part of the group. Dianetics opened the door for him and really gave him the answers he was looking for. A young actress named Jennifer explained that when she had a baby, she began to experience all kinds of emotions and was crying and was sad, which didn’t make any sense. She couldn’t understand why. Clearly such inappropriate emotions was also having an effect on her husband and even the baby. She totally handled this with Dianetics and was able to actually begin enjoying being with her baby and life became much easier for her.

To Be Strong Is To Help

On February 13, 1958, L. Ron Hubbard wrote:

“The way of a strong man is to help his less fortunate fellows. The essence of all spiritual life is to assist those too weak to help themselves. Scientology helps people to help one another. This is the message of all prophets in all ages: Help one another. It is a formula for life that cannot fail. It is the message of Scientology.”

You probably know many people that come to you asking for things and sometimes you enjoy helping them, whether it is some kind of computer help, legal help, some help they need with a relationship, or whatever, you should try to help them.

Sometimes you find that helping can be annoying…however, perhaps if you taught someone how to do thing correctly, you know, like help them at least just this last one time, then maybe next time they can handle it themselves since you taught them how to do it.

A lot of people are like self-help people. They can do practically anything they want.

Then there are others who don’t ask for help, but go around trying to figure something out that is either too confusing, way over their head or they just aren’t up to something. For this last kind of person, you don’t have to wait for them to ask, go ahead BE STRONG!!! and try helping them.

March 13 is L. Ron Hubbard’s Birthday

Many people around the world today celebrate L. Ron Hubbard’s birthday. As the founder of the Scientology religion, his legacy lives on as the Church of Scientology continues to grow.

His legacy in the technology of study continues to spread while it helps thousands through Applied Scholastics and other schools and institutions all across the world.

Hundreds of thousands have learned his views on drugs and the harmful effects these have on the body, and live drug free lives because of this. Through his works in drug rehabilitation and drug education, Narconon continues to help people get off drugs in one of the most successful drug rehabilitation systems available.

Because of his amazing ability in the field of writing, L. Ron Hubbard’s books have been sold in the millions and still sell today at a massive rate. L. Ron Hubbard is the most translated author. Guiness World Record Awarded to L. Ron Hubbard.

There is no doubt that L. Ron Hubbard has changed the lives of millions, all in the name of love, increased ability, increased potential, freedom, caring, human rights and through his own self desire to help others.

L. Ron Hubbard will continue to be revered as one of the greatest men of recent times.

And best of all, myself personally, I celebrate L. Ron Hubbard’s birthday because I have studied a good portion of his religious works and I have found so many truths contained within them that mean much more to me and my own life than I can even figure out how to describe. He has done a brilliant job at sorting out so many things about people, their emotions, their problems, their decisions, and how to handle these, as well as how to increase abilities and how to help someone regain their own viewpoint and desire to create and be cause over life. For that I am too grateful and so I share the occasion with many on this day to celebrate his birthday.

Dianetics is the only workable technology of the mind.  It is also the number one self-help bestseller ever.  Rightfully so.

Here is an interesting story of one man’s discovery of Dianetics.  He said:

“As a little boy I always saw the commercial for Dianetics on TV and was always interested in it, ‘The Modern Science of Mental Health’ and I wanted to read it someday or know more about it. So at the age of about 10 years old I somehow came across the book and excitedly sat down to read it.  But to my dismay, I really couldn’t understand it. It was above my comprehension, even though I wanted to read it very badly.

Frankly, I have to agree with his last paragraph in particular.  The power of Dianetics is still untapped to a large degree.  As Dianetics and Scientology continue to grow, the visibility and availability of Dianetics will be ever so greater.  Those who find Dianetics now and become free first are the lucky ones.  Why continue to suffer in life, harbor hatred, feel fear, hang on to pain, when one can become free and Clear?

There is a concept in Scientology called Life Continuum wherein a person inherits and then begins living the life of another, by means of adopting that person’s ways, mannerisms, actions, viewpoints, pains, etc.

Below is an interesting success story relating to Life Continuum.  Here it is:

“For three years, since my daughter’s death, even after fabulous Scientology counselling that helped so much, I still felt like I had a knife in my heart and it would often twist and I would be in grief and get depressed.  I came to the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization in Clearwater, Florida a few weeks ago and the other day I was watching the OT Summit 2007 event on the Basics while waiting for a counselling session.  When the Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center, Mr. David Miscavige, started talking about Handbook for Preclears, it really caught my attention.  then there was a one or two minute excerpt from an L. Ron Hubbard lecture about Life Continuum.  I couldn’t believe it! I realize that I had been doing a life continuum for my daughter.”

Shortly thereafter she received Scientology counselling on the same procedures that deals with the life continuum.  Whereupon she said:

“The result was beyond belief.  The knife is no longer there and I feel totally different.  I feel like myself again.  The data in the lecture was so explicit, it gave all the requirements and boy did I ever have them.  It was an amazing cognition.  I can hardly wait to read the whole book.”

I find it quite interesting that a person unknowingly takes on the beingness of someone else that they loved who has since passed away.  Yet, it is true.  It does happen.  Life has many interesting twists and turns sometimes.

Every day people are faced with problems at their work, during business hours, unsolvable situations, etc.  The stress it causes can be exasperating.  But wait…  Below is what one person said about L. Ron Hubbard’s “The Problems of Work.”

“Last night, I picked up and read half of The Problems of Work book in 2 1/2 hours!  You have to understand that this is something that just does not happen with me.  Ever!  Reading The Problems of Work was a piece of cake.  It was just easy.  There is such clarity in the book.  It’s incredible.  The examples in the book are so simple and so clear-cut.  I usually have a large stack of dictionaries on my desk when studying.  In four chapters of The Problems of Work I looked up about five terms in the glossary.  I thought, ‘Oh my God! This is so simple!’ and that was only the beginning.

“Each chapter laid each of my problems in front of my eyes. Now, when I see successes like this, it just makes me feel so excited to read the book myself.  Could your work problems disappear with this book?

When Will “German Authorities” Learn?

For years now specific members of the German government have attempted to ban Scientology.  The primary reasoning, from what I can gather, is that Scientology churches make money from its parishioners.  This is a silly concept as everyone needs money to survive.  Scientologists also need means to survive.  Any review of other churches and religions will find numerous methods of parishioners paying their church, or even governments giving money to churches.  This isn’t an entirely new concept.  So, I still don’t understand where “German authorities” get their non-sensical ideas about Scientology.

Here’s a real example of how Scientology could make money, while helping others.  A friend of mine was recently reading the all-time self-help bestseller by L. Ron Hubbard, i.e., Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health and experienced something worth way more than the price of the book.  Just as a note, the book explains a lot about psychosomatic illnesses, which is to say, bodily illnesses caused by the mind, in this case, the reactive mind. Further, my friend was having some back problems and occassionally would walk about tilting his back and leaning forward slightly due to the pain.  When this would occur he would repeatedly have to go and see a chiropractor to re-adjust a few things.  A few weeks ago, in the course of merely reading the book, Dianetics, miraculously his back problems went away, they just blew — i.e., they are gone.  No more pain.  He has since been moving tons of boxes, large items, etc. and has had no return of his prior back pains.  No more chiropractor, no surgery, no drugs, one book, small price, no more pain.  With a success story like that, personally I wouldn’t complain.  How could I? Think of the money saved, the vitality of life returned, more energy to create more production.  Is he happier in life?  Obviously.
