Industry of Death Music Video

Industry of Death Music Video

Musician, Actress and Artist Skye Delamey created a great music video concerning psychiatric abuse. It is called: “Industry of Death.” Watch it!

If you have seen the museum: Psychiatry: An Industry of Death, you know exactly where she’s coming from. Having been there myself, I would honestly suggest you stop by for a visit. It might just give you a shockingly new reality on life. The museum was established by the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (http://www.cchr.org) and is located on Sunset Boulevard in the heart of Hollywood.

In the video she speaks of various celebrities who have passed away, such as Curt Cobain, through the use of psychiatric drugs. On this same vain though, I might add that Heath Ledger (younger than I) just passed away too through the misuse over prescription and psychiatric drugs. Another tragedy attributable to psychiatry.

Many celebrities, including Scientologists Kirstie Alley, Lisa Marie Presley, Kelly Preston, Leah Remini, Jenna Elfman, Tom Cruise and Catherine Bell highly support CCHR and its activities to inform others on the dangers of psychiatry.

Skye Delamey has a nice website up at http://www.skyeinfo.com.

Scientology Continues to Help Belgium

Scientology Continues to Help Belgium

Athletes Run from The Hague to Brussels to Raise Awareness About Drugs in Europe.

Scientologists continue to help Belgians by educating and supporting activities to make Belgium a country free of harmful drugs.

Scientology Runners Promoting a Drug Free Belgium

The first week of August 2007 marked the completion of a 180 km (112 mile) relay race from The Hague, Netherlands to Brussels, Belgium, conducted by the Foundation for a Drug-Free Europe, to call attention to the urgent need for increased drug education as a means of curtailing drug abuse among youth.

One thing Scientologists are definitely known for is their stance against harmful drugs. So it was no surprise when the Foundation for a Drug-Free Europe (FDFE) in cooperation with Narconon drug rehabilitation center in the Netherlands and the “Say No to Drugs-Say Yes to Life” campaign, which is coordinated by Scientology churches in the Netherlands and Belgium organized the marathon.

At public events along the route the runners distributed drug education booklets, published by the Foundation for a Drug-Free World. The booklets present the facts and speak to youth in their own terms, and they also help parents and educators understand the issue, recognize the signs of drug abuse and communicate better with young people about the subject.

“Many parents today don’t realize that when they send their children off on holidays they may be putting them at risk,” said Paul Rood, spokesperson for the marathon. “Exposure to drugs and alcohol typically increases at holiday locations. Young people need factual information so they can make informed decisions about drugs.”

The Way to Happiness - Be Temperate

The Way to Happiness - Be Temperate

The Way to Happiness is a book by L. Ron Hubbard which delivers a set of basic morals for our modern world.  You can greatly enhance others you associate with by having them apply these precepts.

Precept # 2 - “Be Temperate”

This is a hard-hitting PSA (Public Service Announcement) as it REALLY shows how drinking too much can have a harmful effect to one’s life and family.

The Way to Happiness by L. Ron Hubbard, precept #2 explains: “Do Not Take Harmful Drugs” and “Do Not Take Alcohol to Excess.”

The Way to Happiness Foundation promotes L. Ron Hubbard’s book (The Way to Happiness) in over 90 languages.  You can also get your own booklet copy with your own custom cover.  Check out http://www.thewaytohappiness.org/ or http://www.twth.org.

Scientology Fighting Substance Abuse in the Philippines

Scientology Fighting Substance Abuse in the Philippines

You’ve heard it before, but here it is again, Scientologists are in the forefront of the fight against substance abuse.  This time, the story is from the Philippines.

The Manila Standard Today published an article entitled: “Scientology tapped to fight substance abuse.”

The article states: “MULTI-AWARDED recording artist, composer, lyricist and performer David Pomeranz is sharing his music to help the government curb drug abuse through a major breakthrough in self-healing.

“At a forum, Pomeranz announced the goodwill tour initiated by the Scientology Volunteers Ministry in Manila and other cities, to teach people how to handle various problems and illnesses that could trigger drug dependency.”

Scientologist, David Pomerantz, recommended the hands-on approach to hinder drug problems as well as resolve conflicts, broken marriages, suppression, child abuse, unfair labor practices, illiteracy, poverty and poor social relationship, “unburden” traumatic experiences and cure illnesses.

“This is for everybody. I just want to help our friends in trouble. I am here in the Philippines for the 20th time,” he told Standard Today.

Bringing forth a message of freedom and hope, David Pomerantz stated: “What makes a man unhappy every day. Remove the filter, be happy in life. Emotional baggage must be a thing of the past. Man has a body, a mind and a spirit. We must unburden our past.”

Director Anselmo Avenido, of the Dangerous Drugs Board, showed up at the forum and praised the Church of Scientology for introducing the philosophy to the agency several years back.

“When we learned about the scientology, we immediately coordinated with its representatives and sent our officials to the US,” he said.

“We are happy to report to the Scientology church that your technique has been very effective in delivering our message to the people. We appreciate your efforts to help us in our antidrug campaign,” Avenido said.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development, represented by Undersecretary Alicia Balang, and the University of the Philippines’ School of Labor and Industrial Relations have adopted scientology to improve their services.

David Pomerantz - Further Information:

On April 23, 2004, David was in the Philippines to open up a Church of Scientology mission, along with Ernie Reyes Jr.  Read the article here: http://www.scientology.org/en_US/news-media/news/2004/040423.html

You can find out more about David Pomerantz’ personal success in Scientology here: http://www.scientology.org/wis/wiseng/17/17-07.htm

Back in 1986, David Pomerantz’s two songs in the Church of Scientology’s The Road to Freedom album were big hits.  These were “The Good Go Free” and “Make It Go Right.” I doubt you could find a Scientologist from that time period who couldn’t sing along with these songs.

David Pomerantz also received the Human Rights Leadership Award from the Citizen’s Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) for his song “Invisible Criminals.”

Tom Cruise’s NY Detox Saved NYFD’s Joe Higgins

Tom Cruise’s NY Detox Saved NYFD’s Joe Higgins

Steve Dunleavy of the New York Post just ran an article entitled: “Cruise’s Clinic OK.”  The article is about a New York firefighter, Joe Higgins, who worked at Ground Zero on 9/11 and the following weeks thereafter.  Joe Higgins said: “I saw this haze of dust was like a rainbow - red, blue, yellow tiny particles - and I said to the guys, ‘You know, one day we’re all gonna die of cancer.’ “

Seven months later, Joe was stricken with a debilitating cough. “It got worse and worse. A doctor for the department, a great guy, was treating me with seven different drugs,” Joe said.

Joe says the drugs had a nightmare series of side effects and he was getting uncontrollable attacks of asthma.  Obviously drug treatment is not the right solution.

Reluctantly, desperately, and as a last resort, Joe joined a program in lower Manhattan called New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project.  http://www.nydetox.org

The project is run by Jim Woodworth, who is a Scientologist.

Joe further stated:  “I went on a two-hour tour of the project, which looks more like a gym than anything else. Frankly, I was knocked out.

“I spoke to firefighters, ironworkers, EMT workers, a lady who works for the Red Cross, a city building inspector, all who were on the pile for too long.

“To listen to their stories is to believe, not in Scientology, but the detoxification program, which, yes, was designed by the late Scientology founder, L. Ron Hubbard.

“But the word Scientology is never mentioned there, no lobbying. There is not a single propaganda pamphlet, and those I spoke to say they have never heard the word Scientology mentioned at the project.”

The New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project clearly has proven to be an extremely successful project in ridding harmful chemicals and toxins from the body, so as to allow the body and its part to function less hindered.  Of course one can just imagine how much better one would feel not being hindered by continuous bodily problems due to harmful toxins stored within the body.

Scientologists are Drug Free

Scientologists are Drug Free

One thing about Scientologists is that they are 100% drug free.  Scientologists therefore are obviously very concerned with the harmful results drugs have on families and people in general.

Many celebrities have stated that Scientology has helped them get rid of their drug habits, including Kirstie Alley, Lisa Marie Presley and Juliette Lewis.

Scientologists engage in many activities to assist others to get off of drugs and stay off of drugs.

For example, in virtually any Church of Scientology around the world, you can enroll on what is called the Purification Rundown.

What is the Purification Program?

The Purification Program is a carefully designed combination of exercise, vitamins, nutrition and sauna use which dislodges drug residues and other toxins from the fatty tissues so that these substances can then be eliminated from the body. While the Purification Program rids one of the biochemical residues that reactivate past drug experience, it is but the first step to a full resolution to the spiritual devastation caused by drug, medicine and alcohol abuse. http://www.scientology.org/en_US/news-media/faq/pg019.html

Here is a success story from the Purification Rundown:

I had used drugs ranging from marijuana to cocaine as well as others in between for three years. I was failing in school, disliked myself and had absolutely no inkling as to what I was doing or where I was going in life. The only time I had “fun” was when I was high on drugs. I then started the Purification Rundown and finished it in several weeks. I have been a changed person ever since! I am alive. I no longer have a fog around me. I can see what is really going on in life rather than living in a “fairyland.” I have been off drugs for six years now and I am a productive person in society. The Purification Rundown completely changed my life.” G.S.  http://www.purificationpgm.org/

Clear Body Clear Mind

A lot of the concepts contained within the Purification Rundown can be found in a book L. Ron Hubbard wrote called: “Clear Body Clear Mind.”  Kelly Preston has personally promoted this book widely because of the great information contained within it.

The Purification Program can help reverse the harmful spiritual and mental effects drugs can have on someone.

Narconon

Narconon is a non-profit drug rehab program dedicated to eliminating drug abuse and drug addiction through drug prevention, education and rehabilitation.  Narconon methods are based on the works of L. Ron Hubbard, but it isn’t part of the Church of Scientology.

There is over 100 Narconon drug rehab centers around the world and Narconon prides itself in being one of the greatest drug rehab programs around.  The Narconon Program has one of the highest success rates in the field of drug rehabilitation, with outside studies showing 75% of the graduates going on to lead stable, ethical, productive drug-free lives.

Here is a success story from the program:

When I first came to Narconon back in 1997, I was 27 years old, had been using every drug under the sun for 15 years and was basically in apathy as to whether or not anything could be done to help me. This was my third rehab in a year and I truly wanted help, I just didn’t think it was available. So I started doing the program and I could not find anything wrong with it. No matter how hard I tried, with all of my old paranoia and distrust in full effect, I just couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Here was a program that didn’t have me admit I was powerless and diseased, want me to relive my terrible past 90 times in 90 days (for the rest of my life) or want me to take “medication” for my “manic depression”.

“This is a program that truly showed me that I am powerful, that I can repair the past and that all the happiness I ever hope to find is within myself. This program not only showed me how to stay off of drugs, it did just what it promised, it gave me a new life. If you’re at the end of your rope and you’re ready to put in some good, honest hard work to make a change for the better, without drugs, Narconon is hands down the best drug rehabilitation drug program on the planet, period. I’ve been clean for 3 years now and I owe it all to my grandmother for getting me to Narconon and to Narconon and Mr. Benitez and Mr. Hubbard.

“Thank you very, very much.”

Kelly Preston and John Travolta are also really fond of Narconon and were recently in Hawaii to help establish another Narconon there (http://www.narcononhawaii.org) and raise the needed funds for this.  See my other recent blog entries relating to that:

Drug-Free Marshals

The Drug-Free Marshals is a youth education and prevention campaign the Church of Scientology International founded to popularize being drug-free.  Kids get others to recite the Drug-Free Marshal’s pledge, which is:

As a Drug Free Marshal, I pledge to lead the way by:

  1. Living a drug-free life.
  2. Showing my friends that a drug-free life is more fun.
  3. Helping my fellow Drug-Free Marshals.
  4. Learning more about how drugs really harm people.
  5. Telling people the truth about the harmful effects of drugs.
  6. Helping my family and friends be drug-free.
  7. Setting a good example to all children by leading the way to a Drug-Free USA.

The Drug-Free Marshals have a world wide network of people working to keep kids off drugs.

Foundation for a Drug Free World / Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life

As an effective drug education program, the Foundation for a Drug Free World, promotes the slogon: Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life.  They have produced a handful of booklets which introduce the truth about drugs.

Among these booklets are:

The Truth About Drugs

The Truth About Heroin

The Truth About Cocaine

The Truth About Crack Cocaine

The Truth About Crystal Meth

The Truth About Ecstasy

The Truth About Joints

The Truth About LSD

The Truth About Painkillers

The Truth About Kiddie Cocaine

Each of these booklets are jammed filled with vital information about drugs, their effects as well as solutions and what you can do about them.

The Foundation for a Drug Free World even has an education kit for teachers and others who wish to carry on the torch.

New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project

This is a detoxification project which Tom Cruise highly supports.  This project followed the 9/11 attacks in New York City.  NYPD and NYFD worked tirelessly at Ground Zero helping those caught under the debris, however, as a result, they suffered badly by the amount of toxins in the air as you can imagine.  Talk about toxic exposure.  The New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project was established to rid people of these toxins.  This procedure has been very effective and is based off of L. Ron Hubbard’s technology.  See my other blog entries about the NY Detox here:

CCHR - Citizen’s Commission on Human Rights

CCHR's Headquarters
CCHR International headquarters in Los Angeles, California

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is a non-profit, public benefit organization dedicated to investigating and exposing psychiatric violations of human rights. It also ensures that criminal acts within the psychiatric industry are reported to the proper authorities and acted upon.

 Dr. Thomas Szasz
Dr. Thomas Szasz

CCHR was founded in 1969 by the Church of Scientology and the internationally acclaimed author, Dr. Thomas Szasz, Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at the State University of New York, Syracuse.

CCHR also exposes the deadly side effects of drugs and how bogus psychiatric disorders are created by psychiatrists to give them another reason to prescribe drugs to people and make more money, while harming the society.

Many Scientology celebrities, such as Catherine Bell, Kirstie Alley, Leah Remini, Kelly Preston, Tom Cruise, Danny Masterson, Marisol Nichols, Jenna Elfman, support CCHR and their activities to save kids from being drugged to death.

In conclusion, you can clearly see that Scientologists are completely anti-drug and are 100% drug-free.  It goes without saying that Scientology does not support groups or people who are for drugs.  Reversely, it is interesting to know that a good percentage of people who oppose Scientology are actually pro-drugs, despite the violence, suffering and deaths caused by them.

Nevertheless, Scientology will continue to be drug-free, allow people to think freely and will continue to campaign a drug-free world.

Juliette Lewis Says Scientology Helped Her Face Her Worst Fears

Juliette Lewis Says Scientology Helped Her Face Her Worst Fears

The Independent (a British paper) reported in an article entitled: “Juliette Lewis: The actress and singer talks about love, drugs and Scientology” that Juliette Lewis has found that Scientology helps her.  Specifically the article states:

Scientology helped me face my worst fears. Ever since I became famous I used to get panic attacks, especially when I was in big crowds. I found a saying: “be there and confronting”. L Ron Hubbard wrote many things I have found helpful.”

Leah Remini Tells of Her Experience in Scientology

Leah Remini Tells of Her Experience in Scientology

36-year-old Leah Remini has had a starring role in CBS’s “The King of Queens.” She turns 37 on June 15.  One day before her daughter Sofia will turn 3.  She is married to Angelo Pagan.

Leah Remini is often asked about Scientology and her involvement in it and what it means to her.  Her website (www.leahremini.net) explains her views on this.  It says:

Question: I’ve heard that you, Tom Cruise, John Travolta and lots of other stars are Scientologists. What exactly is Scientology, and why are so many actors and actresses involved in it?

Answer: For me it has helped me to believe in myself, helped me with communication because as an artist it is vital that you can communicate a mood, a line, etc. as well as have the tools to be able to overcome obstacles in life that can stop you from really achieving your goals in life. There are more non-celebrity Scientologists than there are celebrities, you just don’t hear about them because they don’t make the news. Here’s the deal though, if you really want to know what Scientology is, you go in, buy a book or simply go to the web-site at www.Scientology.org. I will say this though, I have been a Scientologist most of my life, it has kept me off drugs, it has made me believe in myself, it has allowed me to achieve my goals and continue to strive to be a better person. That is the bottom line.

She also explained to the Patricia Sheridan of the post-gazette.com what her views on Scientology are.  Here’s what she said:

Q: Who introduced you to Scientology?

A: My mother. She got into it in the ’70s, and as I got older I saw changes in Mom. She became a person who was easy to communicate with, and as I got older, I was having lots of ups and downs in this business. I felt like I needed some tools to help me to avoid the pitfalls. It’s about the tools. It’s not about a blind faith, not that there is anything wrong with having faith.

John Travolta and Kelly Preston host fundraiser for Narconon in Hawaii

John Travolta and Kelly Preston host fundraiser for Narconon in Hawai’i

HONOLULU, HAWAI’I: Kelly Preston and her husband, John Travolta, were hosting a lavish dinner celebration today, Thursday to support a new Narconon rehab center in Hawai’i.

“This is my baby,” Preston told The Associated Press of her efforts to provide drug education, prevention and rehabilitation services.

A Hawaii native, Kelly Preston said she came home to help address the islands’ growing problem with crystal meth. She started three years ago, working with school and government officials to launch Narconon in Hawai’i.

The dinner will raise money to support that program as well as a new residential drug-rehabilitation facility. The 60-bed Narconon Hawai’i center is expected to open in “two to three months,” Preston said.

She was quoted saying: “This is my first one” and ”I would love to continue doing it on the islands — on each of maybe four or five of the main islands — and I’d love another one also here, a juvenile facility.”

She also told the local TV station (KgMB9): “I know that this program works.  I know that it gets a 75% success rate.  It’s amazing.”

Narconon is a worldwide drug rehabilitation and education network with facilities in 40 countries. It is based on the principles of L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology.  It is also one of the most effective drug rehab programs.  http://www.narconon.org  Narconon has more than 100 drug prevention and treatment centers around the world.

“Our goal collectively as an organization is to help with collaboration of everybody else, have a drug free Hawaii,” said Narconon Hawaii president Myron Thompson.

As you know, Kelly Preston and Travolta, who have been married 15 years, are both Scientologists and as humanitarians both have been supporting efforts to get kids off drugs for a long time.   Read my prior article on this very point: Kelly Speaks Out Against Drugs.

http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/05/24/arts/NA-A-E-CEL-US-Kelly-Preston.php

Here is a story about a man named Chad Bloom whose life was destroyed by drugs until he found the Narconon program:

Kapolei resident Chad Bloom, 21, told KGMB9 (local Hawai’i tv) his life was a mess before Narconon.

“That’s when I quit work.  And that’s all I was doing.  Going out to find more drugs.  Going out to find where they were.  And using them,” Bloom said.

Desperate for help Bloom entered the Narconon rehab program in Oklahoma last December.  He graduated from the program in mid-April and today says he is drug free.

“I’m very confident that I’m done with it.  I have no doubts what so every that I won’t go back to it,” Bloom said.

“It’s wonderful.  I mean, he’s back and he’s that person I always knew he could be,” added Lari Bloom, Chad’s mother.

Narconon Hawai’i has been delivering basic drug education in Hawai’i schools since January 2005. To date, Narconon drug educators have given presentations to more than 23,000 students in 65 schools. Analysis of initial responses from those students have shown positive results–informal surveys show that 89% stated they would never start taking drugs, or were now against drugs as a result of the Narconon presentations.

A year ago, Preston and Narconon Hawai’i teamed up with other island drug prevention groups to distribute free “parent kits”, designed to help parents learn how to more effectively talk to their children about the dangers of drug abuse. The kit, introduced by Lt. Governor James “Duke” Aiona and University of Hawai’i football coach June Jones, includes essential information and simple lesson plans most anyone can follow. As a result of the distribution campaign, which included television public service announcements featuring Preston airing repeatedly on all four local networks, thousands of families requested and received the free kit.

Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann proclaimed the week of May 20 - May 27, 2006 “Teaching our Kids the Truth About Drugs Week” to commemorate the launch of the kit distribution on the islands.
