Vote – You Have A Right To Be Heard

Vote – You Have A Right To Be Heard

An intense collection of celebrities have united in the form of public service announcements requesting that everyone vote on November 4th.  They aren’t demanding you choose Obama or McCain, but they are requesting you exercise your rights as a citizen of the United States to register and allow yourself to be heard.  A Youtube channel called “5friendsvote” promotes the idea of voting and suggests that everyone should in turn get five people to vote, who in turn would also each get five to vote.

Here are the PSAs.  They are great.  Get the message out!  Vote!

50 Years of Scientology in France

50 years of Scientology in France

The Church of Scientology in France is about to celebrate their 50th anniversary.  The first Scientology church in France was established in Paris in 1959.  Since then, the Scientology religion in France has become widely known and Scientology churches can be found throughout the country spiritually assisting others.  The good and the help Scientology churches provide has been priceless, Scientologists say.

There are Dianetics and Scientology centers in Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Angers, St. Etienne, Clermont-Ferrand, Vannes, Nice, Bordeaux and Toulouse.

Two of the largest Scientology churches in France are in Paris.  When I visited the primary Paris church a few years ago, it was bustling full of people.  I also found it to be quite a large facility and right in the heart of Paris.

Scientology also caters to the top individuals in our society, namely artists, celebrities, politicians, leaders, sports figures, etc.  The reason is simple, these are the individuals that society depends upon and Scientology founder, L. Ron Hubbard once stated: “The world is carried on the backs of a desperate few” and “A culture is as great as it’s dreams, and it’s dreams are dreamt by artists.”

At any Scientology church, you can receive spiritual counseling, known as auditing, or do religious training.  Here is one of their study rooms:

Thus, there are Scientology Celebrity Centres around the world, including in Paris, which has a large and beautiful church to cater to its parishioners.

Also, if you have ever been to the Chateau Elysee (now Manor Hotel) in Los Angeles, you will know what a beautiful and comforting place a Scientology Celebrity Centre can be.

The full breadth of knowledge about the mind, spirit and life contained in Scientology is rather massive.  Just the Basics include 18 books and hundreds of lectures delivered by L. Ron Hubbard.  See: http://www.librairie-sel.com/.

Today, the fruits of L. Ron Hubbard’s work are available to anyone who wishes to reach for them. And no matter how different Scientologists may be — whether teachers and businessmen, housewives and athletes, artists and secretaries — they hold one vital factor in common: having significantly bettered their lives, they know that Scientology works.  Nothing in Scientology, however, need be taken on faith. Its truths are self-evident, its principles are easily demonstrable and its technology can be seen at work in any church of Scientology. One need only open the door and step through. (Source: http://www.whatisscientology.org/html/Part02/index.html)

It is clear from the Creed of the Church of Scientology, that everyone has a right to believe in what they wish to believe and they should be able to think freely, create as they wish and live sane and happy lives.

The Dianetics website also forwards that same message of getting rid of the fears, thoughts, emotions and such that withhold you from being yourself in life.  Check out: http://french.dianetics.org/.

Scientologists in France are also very active in the community, whether that be pressing for human rights or dealing with France’s drug problem.

I think it is great that the Scientology religion in France is nearing their 50th year in existence and I wish them many more successful years!

When I think about all of the help, support, guidance and gain that Scientologists have had there, it must be a lot!  From what I have heard, Scientology in France is huge and only getting bigger.  So many people moving to better themselves and learning to help others.  I asked one of my long-time greatest friends, Frederick, a French man – of course, for his opinion, this is what he had to say:

L’Église de Scientologie m’a permi de me remettre sur la voie du bonheur avec ma femme, de devenir plus compétent au boulot et d’etre plus apprecié par mon entourage. Pour ça je serai à jamais reconnaissant.

Scientology’s founder, L. Ron Hubbard is definitely a well-known name.  It’s all over the Internet and the media.  This is mostly because of Church of Scientology and celebrities like Tom Cruise.  This video gives a concise but in-depth overview of many of the facets of L. Ron Hubbard’s life, even before he founded the Scientology religion.  Things you probably didn’t even know about.

Human Rights for All

Human Rights for All

By applying Scientology in my life, I find that it inherently increases my own viewpoint on others, including other groups and people that I don’t even know and people of all ages or races. There is no doubt that a sane world is one where human rights are guaranteed and where freedom to be comes naturally.

Scientology helps not only through the immense technology and laws of life, but also in its application and in its procedures. There are however, several points in The Code of a Scientologist which come to mind in supporting human rights that I feel have to be mentioned. The Code says:

“As a Scientologist, I pledge myself to the Code of Scientology for the good of all. …
2. To use the best I know of Scientology to the best of my ability to help my family, friends, groups and the world.
4. To decry and do all I can to abolish any and all abuses against life and Mankind.
8. To support true humanitarian endeavors in the fields of human rights.
9. To embrace the policy of equal justice for all.
10. To work for freedom of speech in the world.
11. To actively decry the suppression of knowledge, wisdom, philosophy or data which would help Mankind.
12. To support the freedom of religion.
20. To make this world a saner, better place.”

In that same vein, The Creed of the Church of Scientology, written in 1954, is equally clear. It says, in part:

“We of the Church believe
That all men of whatever race, color or creed were created with equal rights.
That all men have inalienable rights to their own religious practices and their performance.
That all men have inalienable rights to their own lives.
That all men have inalienable rights to their sanity.
That all men have inalienable rights to their own defense.
That all men have inalienable rights to conceive, choose, assist or support their own organizations, churches and governments.
That all men have inalienable rights to think freely, to talk freely, to write freely their own opinions and to counter or utter or write upon the opinions of others.
That all men have inalienable rights to the creation of their own kind.
That the souls of men have the rights of men.
That the study of the mind and the healing of mentally caused ills should not be alienated from religion or condoned in nonreligious fields.
And that no agency less than God has the power to suspend or set aside these rights, overtly or covertly.”

L. Ron Hubbard once stated: “On the day we can fully trust each other, there will be peace on Earth.”

Perhaps it isn’t real for you, but I have discovered that the greater responsibility I take for my own area and the people around me, the greater I respect them as people and grant them their own space and ability to be who they are. This extends further to a greater respect and a natural love for all people. You see it in races and places all over the world where they respect others, that extension of care and respect is very much appreciated and goes a long way toward human relations. The subject of help is one which could use a lot of improvement and you may have noticed when someone helped you in a time of need, you were very thankful.

In addition to the work done by the Church of Scientology to increase awareness of human rights, I appreciate the work that the Youth for Human Rights International has done and their sister organization Artists for Human Rights. I know that they take extensive measures every year to spread the word of peace and human rights in all countries, including many third world countries. They also both heavily support the Universal Declaration on Human Rights.

Industry of Death Music Video

Industry of Death Music Video

Musician, Actress and Artist Skye Delamey created a great music video concerning psychiatric abuse. It is called: “Industry of Death.” Watch it!

If you have seen the museum: Psychiatry: An Industry of Death, you know exactly where she’s coming from. Having been there myself, I would honestly suggest you stop by for a visit. It might just give you a shockingly new reality on life. The museum was established by the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (http://www.cchr.org) and is located on Sunset Boulevard in the heart of Hollywood.

In the video she speaks of various celebrities who have passed away, such as Curt Cobain, through the use of psychiatric drugs. On this same vain though, I might add that Heath Ledger (younger than I) just passed away too through the misuse over prescription and psychiatric drugs. Another tragedy attributable to psychiatry.

Many celebrities, including Scientologists Kirstie Alley, Lisa Marie Presley, Kelly Preston, Leah Remini, Jenna Elfman, Tom Cruise and Catherine Bell highly support CCHR and its activities to inform others on the dangers of psychiatry.

Skye Delamey has a nice website up at http://www.skyeinfo.com.

Tom Cruise — Dynamic, Passionate, Adventurous

Tom Cruise — Dynamic, Passionate, Adventurous

(Celebrities are spontaneously speaking out on behalf of Mr. Tom Cruise, in response to recent tabloid media.)

When it comes to Tom Cruise, many have a lot to say. Here is what some celebrities are saying, per People:

ADAM SANDLER: “To see anyone’s private life invaded and mocked like this is sickening. It’s especially gross when it happens to a guy like Cruise, who’s a great dad, a great husband, and a great friend.”

I agree with Adam Sandler.  Looks like Tom Cruise has some friends that I didn’t even know about. Adam Sandler has always been known to me as a comedian and author of the Chanukah songs

BRUCE WILLIS: “There is no excuse for the ridicule that is being shown to Tom Cruise in the media because of his faith. Mr. Cruise deserves and is entitled to the same religious tolerance that is afforded every other religion on earth.”

Bruce Willis is right again!  Mr. Cruise definitely does have the right to believe whatever he wants to believe.  I appreciate Willis’ statement about religious tolerance.

DEMI MOORE: “What’s so difficult about allowing someone to be happy? After meeting Katie, he was sharing in an unguarded way. He’s passionate; he’s adventurous. Give him a break.”

I had forgotten that Demi Moore was also discriminated against for her religious beliefs just a few years ago.  I think her statement that Tom Cruise is passionate and adventurous is most definitely true.

BEN STILLER: “Imagine having a baby and people talking about it the way they did. People lose sight of the fact that Tom Cruise is actually a person. I feel for him. What he’s dealing with is rough.”

Stiller clearly doesn’t get as much media as Mr. Cruise, but clearly he can just imagine what it must be like.

JIM CARREY: “I’ve never known Tom to be anything but supportive, positive and honorable. Although his enthusiasm for Scientology is unsettling to some, what concerns me is not the content of this [Scientology] video, but the appetite we have to see those who’ve brought us so much joy held up to ridicule.”

Interesting statement.  Carrey used to be one of my favorite actors.  You will want to watch: Ace Ventura Pet Detective.

J. J. ABRAMS: “Tom Cruise is a sweetheart. His intensity is present in everything I’ve seen him do, whether it is work, play, exercise, family, religion. Tom is a life zealot.”

He says “Tom is a life zealot.”  I have seen many photos of Tom Cruise and many films and many shows and many smiles.  I have to agree with him.

HARVEY WEINSTEIN: “The Tom Cruise in the media isn’t the Tom his friends know. He’s the same dynamic, great guy he’s always been.”

Even Harvey Weinstein says Tom Cruise is “dynamic.”

In fact, even Will Smith supports Tom Cruise. http://spiritualbeing.wordpress.com/2008/01/25/will-smith-one-of-a-kind/

Let’s not forget John Travolta: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20172867,00.html

What’s your view of Tom Cruise?

Scientology Celebrities Dazzle Under the Stars

Scientology Celebrities Dazzle Under the Stars

Hundreds, including many Scientology celebrities, attended the luxurious and dazzling Scientology Celebrity Centre Gala this August 4th.

The aura was amazing, dazzling, sparking and luxurious, foods rich, dessert supreme, and on and on.  What else would you expect with a celebration dead center in Hollywood with over a thousand people attending the exclusive event?

Kirstie Alley, John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston

Where any celebs there?  Let me see, besides Kirstie Alley (looking slimmer and slimmer), John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Catherine Bell, Jenna Elfman, Erika Christensen, Shannon Star Roberts, Sophia Milos, Kate Ceberano, Nancy Cartwright, Anne Archer, Taylor Dayne to name a few, I suppose I could say yes.

In terms of the entertainment, what I was most surprised to see was Kate Ceberano and John-Paul Collins, winners of Dancing with the Stars (down under) performed and awed the crowd.  Later Kate also sang and then came applause, applause, applause.  Truly spectacular.

Scientology is Restoring Moral Values and Integrity with The Way to Happiness

Scientology is Restoring Moral Values and Integrity with The Way to Happiness

Among the many effective solutions provided by the Church of Scientology in today’s world is based on a book by L. Ron Hubbard called The Way to Happiness.  The Way to Happiness is a common sense to better living.

L. Ron Hubbard wrote this book so people could help one another and in doing so help handle the problem of declining morals in society. Life in an immoral society can be more than simply difficult.

Beneath the many differences of national, political, racial and religious or other hue, each of us as individuals must make our way through life. Such a way can be made better if those around us have and use some common sense guidelines for living like those contained in The Way To Happiness book and listed here.

  1. Take care of yourself.
  2. Be temperate.
  3. Do not take harmful drugs. Do not take alcohol to excess.
  4. Love and help children.
  5. Honor and help your parents.
  6. Set a good example.
  7. Seek to live with the truth.
  8. Do not murder.
  9. Don’t do anything illegal.
  10. Support a government designed and run for all the people.
  11. Do not harm a person of good will.
  12. Safeguard and improve your environment.
  13. Do not steal.
  14. Be worthy of trust.
  15. Fulfill your obligations.
  16. Be industrious.
  17. Be competent.
  18. Respect the religious beliefs of others.
  19. Try not to do things to others that you would not like them to do to you.
  20. Try to treat others as you would want them to treat you.
  21. Flourish and prosper.

Loudly applauded by community and civic groups around the world, The Way To Happiness book is being passed by hand on city streets, offered by local businesses and banks and police as well as by children involved in the Children’s Set A Good Example Campaign.

Visit http://www.twth.org for more information.

With this book, Scientologists and non-Scientologists have started a world-wide campaign to spread this booklet.  See The Way to Happiness – Middle East Peace Campaign Update and The Way to Happiness Campaign in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Nancy Cartwright with Kids Promoting The Way to Happiness

Additionally, various celebrities such as Isaac Hayes, Nancy Cartwright and Lynsey Bartilson personally have taken actions to promote this book.  For example, with a personalized cover for The Way to Happiness, soul legend Isaac Hayes spreads The Way to Happiness campaign in the Buffalo Community. See “The Way to Happiness Campaign Takes Aim at Violence and Crime in Buffalo.”

The Church of Scientology of Buffalo, “Stop the Violence Coalition”, “Peace, Inc.”, “Healing Tree Ministries” and “Evangelistic Deliverance Holy Ministries” came together at the Healing Tree Ministries Church to not only launch distribution of the book throughout the East Side, but also to rally the resources needed to help the Healing Tree Ministries paint their building.

The 21 precepts of The Way to Happiness may be likened to the edges of a road. “Violating them, one is like the motorist who plunges onto the verge — the result can be wreckage of the moment, the relationship, a life,” writes the author. And while only the individual himself may decide where to draw the road map of his life, for his goals are wholly his own, if he knows how to stay on that road, it becomes a smooth and fast highway.

To discover further facts about Scientology’s grassroots campaign to restore values, you may want to visit: http://www.moral-values.org.  You can also read the brochure featured on that website, called “Scientology Effective Solutions: Teaching Trust, Honesty and Self-Respect,” which is also available in Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish.

As L. Ron Hubbard writes in the introduction:
You are important to other people. You are listened to. You can influence others.
The happiness or unhappiness of others you could name is important to you.
Without too much trouble, using this book, you can help them survive and lead happier lives.
While no one can guarantee that anyone else can be happy, their chances of survival and happiness can be improved. And with theirs, yours will be.
It is in your power to point the way to a less dangerous and happier life.

One of the greatest aspects to this campaign is the number of languages that the booklet is in, which is over 90!  See my earlier blog entry on this at: The Way to Happiness Booklet in Over 90 Languages

To make this campaign even more impressive, creative and fun, several Public Service announcements so far have been produced for three of the 21 precepts covered in the book.  Check out these videos.  They will blow you away!

Tom Cruise’s NY Detox Saved NYFD’s Joe Higgins

Tom Cruise’s NY Detox Saved NYFD’s Joe Higgins

Steve Dunleavy of the New York Post just ran an article entitled: “Cruise’s Clinic OK.”  The article is about a New York firefighter, Joe Higgins, who worked at Ground Zero on 9/11 and the following weeks thereafter.  Joe Higgins said: “I saw this haze of dust was like a rainbow – red, blue, yellow tiny particles – and I said to the guys, ‘You know, one day we’re all gonna die of cancer.’ “

Seven months later, Joe was stricken with a debilitating cough. “It got worse and worse. A doctor for the department, a great guy, was treating me with seven different drugs,” Joe said.

Joe says the drugs had a nightmare series of side effects and he was getting uncontrollable attacks of asthma.  Obviously drug treatment is not the right solution.

Reluctantly, desperately, and as a last resort, Joe joined a program in lower Manhattan called New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project.  http://www.nydetox.org

The project is run by Jim Woodworth, who is a Scientologist.

Joe further stated:  “I went on a two-hour tour of the project, which looks more like a gym than anything else. Frankly, I was knocked out.

“I spoke to firefighters, ironworkers, EMT workers, a lady who works for the Red Cross, a city building inspector, all who were on the pile for too long.

“To listen to their stories is to believe, not in Scientology, but the detoxification program, which, yes, was designed by the late Scientology founder, L. Ron Hubbard.

“But the word Scientology is never mentioned there, no lobbying. There is not a single propaganda pamphlet, and those I spoke to say they have never heard the word Scientology mentioned at the project.”

The New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project clearly has proven to be an extremely successful project in ridding harmful chemicals and toxins from the body, so as to allow the body and its part to function less hindered.  Of course one can just imagine how much better one would feel not being hindered by continuous bodily problems due to harmful toxins stored within the body.
