The Way to Happiness is a book by L. Ron Hubbard which delivers a set of basic morals for our modern world.  You can greatly enhance others you associate with by having them apply these precepts.

Precept # 8 – “Do Not Murder”

A hard-hitting message.

L. Ron Hubbard wrote: “Murder justly bears the highest priority in social prevention and retaliation. … The way to happiness does not include murdering your friends, your family, or yourself being murdered.”

We all have a responsibility to protect our fellows, even if we don’t know them.  They are human and they have a right to live.
